The current council is distracted and not up to the job of fixing Welland. As an experienced leader who’s been a mayor before, April knows what needs to be done and how to do it. As a former Mayor, she has the political experience required to run an effective Council and govern efficiently. She will bring a fresh voice and perspective to Welland as someone who hasn’t been involved in Welland municipal politics.
